Isaiah 52:5,6 - My people shall know my name

52:5
God’s people were being mocked all day long, and as a result God’s name was also being reviled. Judah had narrowly survived the Assyrian attack, but now Babylon had destroyed the city and taken the people into exile. When God’s people are mocked, and God’s name blasphemed God will not standby forever. At some point He will act.

52:6

So what will God’s solution be? Part of the outcome will be that they will know His Name. They will truly understand who God is. The gospel is not just about what God does, important though that is, but also about knowing God. Part of this revelation to Judah would be God’s foretelling of the events. This is consistent with “deutero Isaiah” having actually been written by Isaiah.
