“But your dead will live” Israel has failed, but Isaiah knows that God has not failed. So there is still hope for Israel. We can maybe say this about our own nations as well. In the West our nations are abandoning God as quickly as possible. We should weep and wail for our nation, but we should not lose hope, for it is God who saves, and if He pours out His grace upon our nation even we can be saved.This verse can also be looked at as pointing forward to the resurrection. The Lord can bring lie to the dead. We can also see a link to Ezekiel 37, the valley of the dry bones.
