Genesis 41:1-7 - Seven cows, attractive and plump

41:1-4

Things will now start to move at a pace, and in a way that Joseph could never have imagined when he was thrown into that pit, and then later into jail. We need to be aware of how things can change, and we also need to be aware of what Joseph had to go through. This time it is Pharaoh who has a dream, the one with seven fat cows, and then seven thin cows. The thin and ugly cows ate up the fat cows. This was the first dream.

41:5-7

Pharaoh then had a second dream, but telling essentially the same message. This time there were seven ears of grain, seven good ears of grain, ideal for eating. Then came seven scrawny ears of grain. These thin and scrawny ears ate up the good plump ears. Pharaoh awoke again.
