Moses and Aaron are, understandably, not too happy. However, they take their complaint to the Lord. This is the right thing to do. There can be times when we may feel that God has let us down, There are two wrong reactions. One is to bottle it up and pretend we are actually really happy. The other is to complain to men about God, which is what the foremen were doing. The right thing to do is to take it to God. Moses wants to know why God ever sent him, for so far the only result has been for Pharaoh to make life worse for the Israelites, there has certainly been no sign of any deliverance for the people.
