9:30-32
Jesus was teaching His disciples and wanted the privacy to do so. There can be times when God seems to set us aside, not using us much in ministry. During those times we might feel left out and frustrated, but it might be that God is wanting to teach us some new things. Now the things that Jesus was going to teach them about were not comfortable things, namely His suffering and death. Likewise, there may be things that the Lord needs to teach us that are uncomfortable for us to learn. Jesus told them that He would be delivered into the hands of men, killed, and then raised from death after three days. we can be pretty certain that this is a summary of what Jesus taught them. The disciples were as clueless as ever, and were afraid to ask Jesus to explain.
