2 Corinthians 13:12-14 - All the saints greet you

13:12-14

We now get the final greetings. “Greet one another with a holy kiss.” In some cultures this is a normal greeting, in others, like ours, it isn’t. And there is no need for us to follow this command in a literal sense, but we should greet one another with respect and Christian love. Paul passes on greetings from the other churches. Finally he closes with what has become a common declaration of our unity with God. “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” We need the grace, the undeserved favour, of Christ, we need to know that we live in the love of God, and that the Holy Spirit is working among us and in us.
