11:3
To delight in the fear of the Lord is what really makes a man or woman great. Are we going to live by the fear of man, or the fear of God? One is a snare, the other gives us true wisdom and freedom. The Lord looks at the heart of a man. Notice that in the gospels Jesus always saw into the hearts of men, knowing what was going on behind outward appearances.
11:4,5
“With righteousness He will judge the needy”. This does not mean He will judge against the needy, but that He will bring them justice. He give decisions for the poor of the earth, and this is done with justice. And this is done with force. There is a forcefulness associated with Jesus. Righteousness and faithfulness will be the guiding lights in His ministry.
