Philippians 4:14-23 - The grace of the Lord be with you

4:14-18

Paul expresses his gratitude towards the Philippians. Indeed, in the early days they were the only church to support Paul. They supported Paul on more than one occasion. Paul seems to be trying to tread a line between expressing his gratitude, and making it clear that he is not looking for more help.

4:19,20

Paul assures them that God will meet all their needs “according to His riches in glory”. Sometimes when we give we may fear that we ourselves will not have enough. In Christ we do not need to worry about that. And all the glory goes to God the Father.

4:21-23

The letter closes with a fairly typical sort of greeting. Paul sends greetings from everyone who is with him, and sends them to all the believers in Philippi.
