2 Timothy 4:18-22 - Grace be with you all

4:18
Paul knew that his time on earth was short, but also knew that God would take him safely to His heavenly kingdom. There are some who place an emphasis on the fact that there will be a new heaven and a new earth, so the popular concept of “going to heaven” is indeed incomplete at best. However, there is still an element of “going to heaven”, so it should not be jettisoned completely.

4:19-22

Paul closes with a few greetings, Priscilla and Aquila receive several mentions in the New Testament, with Priscilla often being mentioned first. Paul wants Timothy to get to him before winter if possible. Once winter arrived travelling would be out of the question, and Paul may well have been dead after the winter.
