Galatians 3:8,9 - All nations will be blessed

3:8
A fundamental aspect of the New Testament is that it was always God’s plan to take His salvation to all the world, and that the means of entering the kingdom and living in the kingdom would be by faith. When God first called Abraham He said that all nations on earth would be blessed through him, so we had the universality of God’s plan right from the outset. Paul has combined this with Abraham’s being justified by faith so that all of us are justified by faith. Faith, not works of the Law, is God’s means.

3:9

So it is by faith that we are blessed. Under the Law Israel enjoyed the blessings of God by obeying the Law. In crude terms if she followed the Law things went well, if she did not things went badly. If she disobeyed the Law then God’s blessing was removed. And as the Old Testament records again and again, Israel was incapable of following the Law for any length of time. Blessing comes through faith.
