Sexual relations with an animal were absolutely outlawed. This was a clear perversion, it was also associated with religious practices of the Canaanites. Anyone who offered sacrifices to any other god was to be “devoted to destruction”. Ex 20:3 says we must have no other gods but the Lord. It is such an important matter that we do not put our trust in anyone or anything else other than the Lord.
22:21-24
Sojourners and aliens were not to be mistreated. And they are reminded that they too were once sojourners in Egypt. The widows and the fatherless were not to be mistreated either. A despicable side of human nature is a tendency to mistreat the weak or the strangers. If they are mistreated then they would cry out to God and God would hear them. Then His wrath would be poured out. It is a very dangerous thing to take advantage of the weak.
