What about our day to day lives, how does the Trinity fit into that? In every way is the answer! Jesus tells us that He and the Father will come and dwell with us (John 14:23). And how do they do that? By the Holy Spirit. In his first letter John tells us that whoever has the Son has the Father as well (1 John 2:23). A key part of the work of the Holy Spirit is to testify to who Jesus is.
The Father created us, brought us into being. He created us through and for Christ. Our being comes from Him, and He gives us our purpose in life. Our lives matter because of the Father. Jesus came and gave Himself up for us, paid the price of our sins so that we could be brought back home to the Father. He also showed us what true humanity is meant to be like, what a life lived in complete trust in the Father, love for the Father, and obedience to the Father, looks like, and how effective such a life can be.
The Holy Spirit leads us and communicates with us. We must never think of the Holy Spirit as a mere force or power. He empowers us to do things, but He is a person. We can grieve the Spirit, or we can please Him. He opens our eyes to the truth.
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all fully God, but they are also distinct. They have different roles, but they also interact with each other.
We worship the triune God, and the Trinity is an essential aspect of who God is, and to His interaction with us and with the world.
