16:42-50
As we know, it was God who had executed judgement upon the rebel leaders, and His glory appeared again, this time to execute judgement upon all the people. Moses continues to act in his servanthood manner, urging Aaron to act quickly and to take a censer before the Lord in order to stop the plague that had broken out among the people. Eventually the plague stopped, but not before almost 15 000 people had died. What we see from this, apart from the rebellious heart of man, is that God is angry against sin, and that He provides a redeemer. We deserve to be judged, but God has provided a sacrifice for our sins.
