1 Corinthians 6:19,20 - You are not your own!

6:19a
See again the extremely high view of the body that is implicit in the Bible’s teaching on sexual morality and the resurrection. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit! Jesus says that He and the Father will come to dwell with those who believe in Him. God Himself comes to dwell within us. He does this by the Holy Spirit whom we receive from God. Worldly sexual (im)morality consistently devalues the body, God’s teaching consistently places an infinitely higher value on us as people, and upon our bodies. God’s teaching on sexual morality is not there to “stop us having fun”, but because we are so precious.

6:19b, 20
“It’s my body” cries the world. Wrong! We are not our own, we were bought at a price, the precious blood of Jesus. If we seek to live as if we are autonomous then we are deeply mistaken. We belong to God, that is the truth. But we also belong to a God who loves us more deeply than we can ever imagine, and more than we love ourselves. So we are to honour God with our bodies. This should be the motivating force behind our lives., and our approach to all aspects of sexual morality. On this matter the world does not have a clue what it is talking about, and those churches that have opted to become sin-affirming churches do not know what they are talking about either.
